YSL have released a new addition to the Cassandra line as part of the Saint Laurent 2020 collection – the Cassandra Top Handle bag.
The Cassandra Top Handle bag features a structured body and four metal feet.
It has a classic and elegant style to it, but also comes with a detachable and adjustable shoulder strap which adds a more casual feel to the bag and allows it to be worn across the body.
The YSL Cassandra bag is made out of calfskin leather and in addition to the wide range of colours available, the leather also comes in a range of finishes including smooth, grained and crocodile embossed.
In terms of durability, the grained and crocodile-embossed versions are definitely more resistant than the smooth version.
However, the leather of this bag seems to be more durable than the soft leather on some other YSL bags in general, including the YSL LouLou and the YSL Collège.
